It is an old house beautifully restored in the style of old Tuscany villa, maybe without many antics but with enough rich furniture and subtle decoration to give you feel of understated luxury. Had a lovely stay during a road trip taking in many locations, wished we had time to stay longer. Beautifully appointed lodge with friendly hosts and great food, a home from home.
