We had a wonderful time at Lupton Lodge – perfect spoiling for a couple trying to get away from the kids – but still have to stick to a budget. There was golf, walks, Whangarei, Ngunguru and Tutukaka on your doorstep, a pool to soak in, beautiful rooms, wonderful food – had the Moroccan Lamb twice – a great oaky chardonnay and a pool table, among other things. Oh and wonderful hosts.
