Not much more to add to the other accolades, but this is well deserving of more than just a night’s stopover. It’s a mini resort with the billiard table, DVD and book collection, games room, pool, orchard and so on, and handy enough for those dive trips out of Tutukaka or for exploring Whangarei’s The Basin area and beyond.
So much better than a soulless motel, which is what Whangarei primarily offers those seeking accommodation.
Dinner was lovely, (optional extra) and so was breakfast.
